About Us The Claremont Independent is a 5-C monthly newspaper that covers everything from campus issues to international politics to entertainment reviews. We do not receive funding from any 5-C school and are thus independent in our funding as well as our partisanship. We are unabashedly conservative, but are not beholden to any party in particular.
Contact Us If you are interested in writing for the Claremont Independent we always welcome new and experienced journalists alike. There is a lot that goes unreported across the 5-Cs and we will provide a forum for those who desire to write about what is going on. Opinion pieces and entertainment reviews are also accepted. Especially encouraged are letters to the Editor if you find yourself agreeing, but especially if you disagree. Please write us and tell us why!
