About

Many people wonder, what is a psychotic disorder, and the answer lies in how it affects a person’s ability to interpret reality. A psychotic disorder is a serious mental health condition where individuals lose touch with reality, often experiencing delusions, hallucinations, and disorganized thinking. These disorders can interfere with daily functioning, relationships, and overall well-being. Psychotic disorders may be short-term, such as brief psychotic episodes, or long-term, like schizophrenia. While the condition can feel overwhelming, effective treatments such as medication, therapy, and support programs help individuals manage symptoms. With proper care, people can lead stable and fulfilling lives.
