Dr. Marco Valenzuela Appointed As Harvey Mudd VP Of Student Affairs
In an email sent to students, Harvey Mudd College (HMC) President Maria Klawe announced that “Dr. Marco Valenzuela will be the permanent vice president of student affairs and dean of students at Harvey Mudd College as of February 1, 2022 after having served as interim vice president during the fall semester of 2021.”
“Valenzuela joined the College’s Division of Student Affairs in September 2018 as assistant dean for housing and residential life. In 2019, he was promoted to associate dean of students and director of residential life. On July 1, 2021 he took on the role of interim vice president of student affairs and dean of students, succeeding Anna Gonzalez (Dr. G).”
