Submissions
The Claremont Independent welcomes tips, submissions for guest opinion pieces, and letters to the editor from students, faculty, alumni, and staff from the Claremont Colleges.
Submit a Guest Opinion
In order to be considered, a guest opinion piece must well-written, express a thought-out opinion, and be approximately 600 words long. The Independent typically restricts the scope of opinion pieces to those with direct relevance to the Claremont Consortium. If accepted, an editor will work with you to ensure your piece is fit for publication and adheres to the Independent's style guide.

For consideration, please submit drafts to cl.ind.editor@gmail.com.
Send a Letter to the Editor
The Editorial Board welcomes readers to send in letters to the editor, which may be in reference to the Independent's coverage of an issue (news or opinion), something you think the Independent should pay more attention to, or a matter of public debate. Letters to the editor are generally shorter than opinion pieces, and should be kept below 500 words. Letters to the editor will receive minimal edits, if any. Anonymous submissions will not be published.

Letters may be sent to cl.ind.editor@gmail.com.
Got a Tip?
If you have a tip, or information you think would be useful to the Independent, please submit it to this anonymous form or email cl.ind.editor@gmail.com. The editor-in-chief will reply as quickly as possible.
